What Makes Our Products Superiorly Sustainable:

  • Resource Conservation Through Reclaimed Wood: Not a single new tree is felled for our collection. We use high-quality reclaimed oak that already has a history. Through this consistent upcycling, we preserve valuable resources and give historically rich material a second, even more glorious purpose.

  • CO2 Storage for Your Home: Wood binds CO2. By preserving old wood from thermal utilization (burning) and transforming it into durable furniture, carbon remains bound in your living space for decades. Every Eichennest is a small contribution to climate protection.

  • Metal-Free Purity: We are particularly proud of our metal-free construction. A bed consisting of 100% oak – without screws, nails, or steel angles – can be fully and easily returned to the natural cycle at the end of its (very long) lifecycle. This is true circular economy.

  • Antithesis to the Throwaway Society: True sustainability means longevity. Our furniture is so solidly crafted by the best in their field that it is built not for years, but for generations. A piece of furniture that you never have to replace is the most sustainable product you can own.
